2024年盛夏，德國慕尼黑骨外科醫院合伙人、德國明斯特大學教授Herbort教授應邀到河南省直第三人民醫院進行為期一周的客座教授交流。這是一次保膝治療學習碩果累累的交流，Herbort教授在一周之中與醫院骨科沙宇主任以及團隊進行了專家會診、門診、科室管理、科研項目開展、大師公開課、手術指導與手術直播等活動。門診中，Herbort教授吸引了來自全中國的患者前來河南省直三院尋醫問診，其中包括有退役排球運動員、馬拉松運動員、籃球、足球運動員等受過運動損傷的患者，都接受了Herbort教授專業細致的查體和診療。Herbort教授每年ACL重建手術超過400臺，基于其豐富的ACL重建診療經驗，他在手術指導期間特別指出ACL韌帶重建需要伴MCL處理，才能讓膝關節更穩定，避免ACL因為運動傷再次撕脫。2024年8月2日周五中午，在中德關節外科交流與大師公開課暨第三十四屆截骨與軟骨修復再生技術保膝學習班中，這位來自德國的天才級運動骨科專家在河南省直三院與沙宇主任團隊一起進行了HTO截骨手術，并全球直播。這是一次精準高效的手術直播，Herbort教授在術中詳細分解了手術步驟，并且重點強調保護脛骨處的特定神經，以此避免術后患者產生后續疼痛問題。Herbort教授手術技藝精準高超，與沙宇主任團隊術中合作無間.本次手術直播吸引了14.5萬在線觀看人次，是一次非常成功的線上手術指導活動。本次Herbort教授中國行學術活動的成功舉辦，標志著中德專家在保膝外科領域的合作邁上了新臺階，也為河南省直第三人民醫院骨科的發展注入了新的動力。這次活動不僅提升了該院骨科的技術與診療水平，也為更多的患者帶來了福音。

In the summer of 2024, Prof. Mirco Herbort, Partner of OCM Clinic, Munich, Germany and Orthopedic professor of Muenster University, was invited to participate in a one-week visiting professor exchange at Henan No. 3 Provincial People's Hospital.It was a fruitful exchange focusing on knee preservation and treatment. During this week, Prof. Herbort engaged in a range of academic exchange activities with Director Sha Yu and his team at the hospital, including expert consultations, outpatient clinics, discussion on department management and research project, open classes, surgical guidance and live surgeries.In the outpatient clinic at Henan No. 3 Provincial People's Hospital, Prof. Herbort checked patients from across China, providing physical examinations, diagnosis and treatment for them. Patients like retired volleyball players, marathon runners, basketball and football athletes with sports injuries all came and visited the hospital because of him.Prof. Herbort performs over 400 ACL reconstruction annually. Based on his extensive experience in ACL reconstruction, during the surgical guidance, he particularly emphasized that ACL reconstruction should be accompanied by MCL treatment to stabilize the knee joint more effectively, reducing the risk of ACL rerupture due to sports injuries.At noon of Friday, August 2, 2024, during the Sino-German Joint Surgery & Master Open Class Day & 34th Knee Preservation Workshop on Osteotomy and Cartilage Repair Regeneration Techniques, Prof. Herbort, this distinguished sports orthopedic expert from Germany, collaborating with Director Sha Yu's team at Henan No. 3 Provincial People's Hospital, performed a globally live HTO surgery. This precise and efficient live surgery featured Prof. Herbort's detailed breakdown of the surgical procedure, with an emphasis on protecting specific nerve in the tibial side to prevent postoperative pain issues for patients. Prof. Herbort demonstrated such an exceptional surgery in collaboration with Director Sha Yu's team.
